The game is what you make of it, if you enjoy raiding and dont want to 1 shot it then have be EZ mode, do it blind with a static no guides and enjoy it take your time, weekly lockouts are kinda needed as bussing is a thing and imagine taking your overgeared character and bussing valtan 100 times a week its game breaking. Man lots of doomers on the forums lately. I am failing to see what the point of building our characters is if we cannot use them.

Now I feel like my investment has been a huge waste of time plus I cannot think of why anyone would want to be overgeared as it would just make the game even easier. There is really no point to over gearing our characters because there is no challenge awaiting us they just sit there until next week to do the same easy content rinse and repeat…īy the time we realize there is no end game we have already invested a crazy amount of hours or money into the game. We get to play each legion raid once per week and that is the only challenging thing for our characters to do. The truth is after you spend hundred to thousands of hours or lots of real currency to get your character up to legion raids the game blocks you out of the content. I fell into this trap pushing my characters higher thinking I was actually going to be able to use all the characters. The economy is designed to inflate to the point where new players cannot catch up unless the spend real money in the game. To get all your legendary class engraving and another combat engraving costs over 300k gold. We spend hundreds to thousands of hours building our characters but then we have nothing to do with those characters once they are built. Even if we did catch up there is nothing to do with them. So we have no way of catching up to the players who are already high level.
The game is not built like your normal mmo where you get rare loot or can find rare items that are worth a tons on money to high level players such as furniture recipies. The stronghold system is copied from a mobile game with very little furniture options. There are only two real ways to make money in the game, bussing or selling relic gear. As a hardcore gamer with 20+ years in the industry I fail to see the point of the endgame in LA.
